4711 Alcon Water Damage

1/27/2016:
Maintenance Engineer Jerry Tyree went to 4711 Alcon to access the work needed to be done after tenant moved out. When he entered the house he saw Major damaged caused by what appears to be one or more busted pipes.
Damages:
Most of the carpet is damaged and soaking wet upstairs in bedrooms. The ceiling in the living room is damaged along with the carpet and walls, The walls, carpet and ceiling is damaged in the basement. Some of the laminate flooring is also damaged in kitchen.
According the to neighbor this happened between Wednesday and Thursday of last week, Jan. 20-21. That's when he noticed the water coming out of the house and he called the police. He said the water company didn't come out until Thursday to turn the water off at the house. Obviously with the Blizzard we did not discover any of this until Jan 27th during the inspection.
Solution:
Sent information to Mr. Andrew Robinson in order to contact his Insurance company immediately to have a water damage and restoration company come out and remove damaged drywall, carpet and flooring and dry the place out to prevent mold from growing. Tyree will put a lock box on the door, Also the front door is swollen from the moisture and hard to open but Tyree adjusted it to make it easier to open.
